Greater is He that is in You

First John 4:4 says, “Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” Brothers and sisters, God has designed you for destiny. There are some places that God has already taken you in the spiritual realm and you’ve already glimpsed your divine purpose. Now, you must allow God to work a perfect work in you that He might take you to the next level.
In the midst of a wavering faith, stammering tongue, and lack of a “can do” attitude, how can I hold on to my destiny? The Word says, “Little children, you are from God.” You belong to God. You have more power than a weapon of mass destruction. As a matter of fact, you have some mighty weapons of mass destruction. Weapons of mass destruction were not just invented within the past decades. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus died on an old rugged cross. He shed His blood that sinful mankind might be redeemed. The blood washes and cleanses us from our sins. The blood heals all sickness and disease. Demons tremble at the blood of Jesus. It shall never lose its power!
Since the Greater One, who is God Himself, lives on the inside of us, we are overcomers. We have overcome the false doctrines and teaching of the anti-Christ. We have overcome the false prophecies of self-appointed spokespersons who speak the words of men and not those of God. We have overcome the lies and deception of false teachers and preachers who prey on the sheep and who do not pray for them. We have overcome the snares of temptation that would seek to take us off of a path called straight. We have overcome all manner of sickness and disease. We have overcome the rootworker, gypsy, and tarot card reader. We have overcome drugs and alcohol, fornication and adultery, lies and deceit, and spiritual wickedness in high places. We have overcome self-deception, self-hatred and a low self-aggrandizement. We have overcome them!
Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world! You have been infused with power from on high. Victory lives on the inside of you. The greater One lives in you! He’s the God of your weary years and of your silent tears. He’s the God who kept you when you wanted to let go. He’s greater than the pain of being abandoned by your daddy and abused by a “sugar daddy.” He’s greater than the shame of prostitution and the fame that this world has to offer. Greater is He that is in you!
If you have the risen Savior living on the inside, you are endowed with supernatural ability. You can go back to school and get that degree. You can start that business, be a parent to your children, and a spouse. You can be saved, single and satisfied. You can wait on God, hold on and hold out, and live it up as you’re looking up. Greater is He that is in you! You can have joy in the midst of sorrow, get up when you fall, stand tall and not be ashamed, and live large and love it!
Beloved, it’s not about you but it’s all about God. My friend, you are really loved.
Exhale while you walk in the fullness of that which God blessed you. Celebrate the wonder of Jesus. Pray to release any self-sufficiency and pride. Walk in the power and victory of God and shout “Greater is He that is in me!”
